The Beach Path

For our "Girls Just Wanna Paint" April Challenge, we needed to paint/post a painting with a Duxbury theme, and I think that Duxbury has one of the best darned beaches around. So here it is.

Ruby

This is "Ruby," a lovely older Ford Falcon that belongs to our mechanic. She's in perfect shape, and such a cool car! Late last summer, I had an opportunity to paint her; I put it aside for a while and just completed it yesterday. Maybe I'll paint one of his other cars this summer.

"On the Road 10" x 20"

I painted this with the late Ros Farbush on George Washington Boulevard in Hull, MA...I think she painted a nearby building with flags but I was drawn to the road with the bay alongside.
