I was asked by a friend to exhibit some paintings at a local farm day for Weir River Farm that is run by the Trustees of the Reservations. It's so close by and it is a place I had never visited before. They had lots of animals there, so I went back after the show and painted this cow and some horses. I was glad to discover this wonderful place with its distant views of the ocean and the beautifully cared for fields and animals.Monday, October 20, 2008

Thanks Kelley...this cow was actually pretty patient and held her pose for quite a while...I think she knew she was having a portrait painted!
