Nina at Winnepesaukee

On a trip to N.H. in October, I took a picture of my daughter taking a picture of the landscape. It became a painting...

Oh, Paula, this is Gorgeous! And this will sound funny but of all the wonderful things about it I'm fascinated by her arms, they are so convincing and 3D, and her eyes are fantastic. I salute you, well done!

Lovely! I'm really into the purple in her hair... and now that I'm looking - the arms are very nice :)

As the subject of the painting, I just want to say, it's a really nice painting. I think the facial features look different in person than on the computer...

I love the expression you captured on your daughters face. The colors are so vibrant and wonderful. Just looking at it cheers me up!

Thanks everyone! I appreciate your comments. I agree with Nini, it does look different in person, both her features and the foliage. But you know how that goes...

This is awesome! This is the kind of painting I want to be able to do. I've tried but but it ended up looking like a paint by numbers kit. Love your work!
