Luxury Room, Plasma TV

One Sunday morning last summer, my husband and I took a ride by the beach. This motel (I've changed the name) had just remodeled and when I saw this photo shoot going on outside, I screamed at my husband to pull over so I could take a picture...interesting way to promote the place...

This just makes me happy. What size is it? You are definitely into quality if not quantity of paintings these days, girl! SO inspiring. :D

You have such a great way of capturing a scene with bright color and bold strokes. Good to see your work again, Paula!!

Context is everything...this painting has a lot of interesting things going on at different levels. It's kind of like Edward Hopper with a twist! Maybe you could use this as a starting point for a series.

Paula, you're back! I'm so happy! It looks like you have broadened your subject matter since the starfish post. This painting has such a lively feeling about it...the girls look cold. And what a huge size. I can't wait to see what you do next.
