China Pearl

This painting was done on location in Chinatown in Boston one Saturday with a few other painters. I don't paint in the city enough.

Thanks so much Marian! Now I just need to learn how to photograph my art properly...and eliminate any glare! Thanks for stopping by.

I think there's some glare on the photo - all I can say is when you see it in person IT BLOWS YOU AWAY! The colors are so vivid and skillfully placed - well, just try to get to Paula's next show and see it in person! It is awesome!

Oh, I didn't notice till now you mentioned the glare..

Thanks Yvonne (hey, I love your avatar!) and Kelley...and yes Kelley, that glare...I need to break down and buy my own camera, I really haven't been taking the time to photograph my work properly which is not a good thing...I don't know if my old one can be fixed...

Very nice!
You really captured the atmosphere of the China town. I love those blue lines sneaking out through strong reds.
Can't wait to see more of your urban paintings.
