My daughter asked me if I would paint a propeller for her rowing club's fundraiser. I said, "What the heck...why not..?" and so I did. I struggled with getting the time to do this, trying to come up with an image, and then, executing the image. Well, aren't I almost all done when I ask my husband if we had any spray varnish at home and he thought we did. So he brings the spray stuff up. Something doesn't look right but I figure, I'll try it anyway. I start spraying and, wait a minute, THAT'S not clear! That's white! I had to repaint it.
