Ready for Work 18"x24"

These guys were lined up at the shipyard...I have wanted to paint them for a long time now...I finally got the chance on Sunday!

This is a really cool painting, it looks very good in the black frame, and I'm a *huge* fan of it. I even love the unconventional subject matter!

Thanks...I just entered it into the Blue Ribbon Members' Show at the Art Center. It will be interesting to see what it looks like in an exhibition setting.

Oh! Now I have to go to the Blue Ribbon Show! I love, love, love this one. What energy (for things that were probably NOT moving or even turned on!) - there's a definite rhythm and vitality here. You GO girl!

I am also attracted to these machines.
Beautiful!

I love this painting! The machines seems to speak to me directly. Such an unusual subject matter, very imaginative. It's really wonderful.

Thanks Selene, nice to hear from you! I'm just upset that I didn't paint the HUGE trucks at the site before they left. Lesson learned....
