Houses at Thomas Park

I started this a couple of years ago, wasn't wild about it, and decided to try to finish it. I spent a couple of hours on site and met a lot of people. One that wanted me to paint another nearby house and then someone I used to work with...it's a small world.

did you go on location the 2nd time? I'd like to do another Southie painting, too. Getting to be chilly weather time, but I'm planning on getting all tricked out for freezing weather!

I really like this painting! (well, I love architecture) The colors are nice and really sing. Both of these make me think of Hopper - one of my favorites.
Happy weekend! ~ Brenda

Thanks Brenda, I certainly live in an area of diverse architecture which I just love. (beginning with buildings from the 1600's on up!)
