"His Bride" 6"x6"

While out at lunch with my parents at a Bickford's recently, my father pulled out his wallet to get a credit card out and left his wallet on the table. I grabbed my phone and took a picture of it because at that moment, I saw him and my mom...her from a 1940's photo (she's much prettier than the photo) and Dad in that he always picks up the tab. I changed the credit cards...the colors on his cards just weren't working...artistic license. Anyway, this is my entry for this month's Girls Just Wanna Paint challenge for which the theme was "Love."

Wow! New look to the comments page! I love this - and I would love a little more info - was this a relative? Antique store find? SO happy to see it - it must be warming up in the studio!!!

Thanks Kelley, this is is actually based on a moment while out to lunch with my folks....Dad's wallet was on the table with a pic of my Mom flipped open. She was prettier than that of course.
