Modern medicine is an amazing thing...

Probably not what you were going for but I felt very sad when I saw this one. Then again as long as you feel any emotion towards a painting then it's a good one. Brought back some memories for me.

Paula, you got at the green and purple, I love that combination of colors and you seem to use it a lot. Your loose style is what I'm aiming for in my own work.

Thanks Selene and Deborah. This is a personal painting but the bright side is that even if medical equipment may seem out of place in a home environment, if it can be life saving, it is a good thing.

Your palatte in these brings me warm fuzzies, both the cows and bedroom.

Thanks Robin! Color is a language I am continually trying to gain fluency in, and by the way, I visited your blog and looks like you are VERY fluent in that language! Your work is beautiful. Thanks for stopping by!

I love this and yes it speaks of illness but the room is so beautiful and so well done. Your drawing is great. The scene reminds me of Van Gogh's interiors.
Love the way you use color. Somewhere between Roz F. and your own take on it.

Hi Mary, thanks for visiting my blog! I now carry my sketchbook everywhere which is something I should have been doing a long time ago. (It helps to carry a tote bag!) I am sketching wherever I go now and it definitely helps my painting....I don't know why I haven'd done this sooner, it's actually fun...

I saw this as a loving portrait of Grampy's room, it made me grateful for the modern medicine that gives us chances when we might not otherwise have them...
